Essentially, cheating in relationships is hurting both parties- but what should you do if your partner is unfaithful?

In general, cheating is about self-gratification over your partner. The cheater does what he can because he wants to keep doing what he's doing. Cheating is about preserving your own habits and preferences without sacrificing them for your partner's needs. Essentially, cheating is about protecting yourself- so if you're willing to hurt your partner, you're probably trying to protect yourself at the same time.
